I made this poster for the residency that will be responding to ideas that surround the work of the artist and musician Billy Childish. The loose theme and emphasis of the residency is the idea self-sufficiency and collaboration. Lo-fi processes, improvisation, poetry, recorded conversations and exchanges and music will be explored over the course of this week in the Reading Room of the ICA. Members of the public can watch us make the work live and are welcomed to interact with us as our various projects unfold….

Here is some movie documentation of the final piece (a sound installation) of the final week of the workshop at the Institute of Contemporary Art which Sarah Cross, Catherine Jones and myself have been running. Hattie Ladd helped out this week too by helping me read and record poems that the year nine pupils had written a few weeks previous….
